Quick Reference
Program Mode
​
1. Press OPTS until PROGRAM MODE is displayed.
​
2. Press on.
​
3. Enter the rate for Step 1 and press OK.
​
4. Enter the volume for Step 1 and press OK.
​
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until all steps are complete and press OK.
​
6. Review the Total VTBD and press OK.
​
7. Press START.
​
Ramp Taper Mode
​
1. Press OPTS until RAMP TAPER MODE is displayed.
​
2. Press ON.
​
3. Enter the total bag volume to be delivered and press OK.
​
4. Enter the Ramp Up time in hours and minutes and press OK.
​
5. Enter the taper Down time in hours and minutes and press OK.
​
6. Enter the Total Time for the infusion in hours and minutes and press OK.
​
7. Review the calculated Max Rate and press OK.
​
8. Press START.
Important Keys
Continuous Mode​
​
1. Enter the rate using the number keys.
​
​

2. Press VTBD.
​
3. Enter the bag volume using the number keys.
​
4. Press OK.
​
​
​

5. Press START.
Alarm Troubleshooting
​
Air in Line!
-
Check for air in air-in-line detector.
-
Check that tubing is properly inserted in air-in-line detector.
-
Remove air from line.
​
Battery Too Low!
-
Plug pump into wall outlet.
​
Door Open!
-
Close door.
​
Downstream Occlusion!
-
Open clamps.
-
Check for kinked tubing.
-
Check IV site.
-
Check occlusion pressure setting.
​
Pump Stopped!
-
Pump is stopped.
-
Either start infusion or press start/stop to extend hold time 3 minutes.
​
Silence alarms by pressing
​

Setting the Pump
​
1. Press (On/Off).
​
2. Press button on top of door to open.
​
3. Insert tubing into pump.

Push open tube pincher (A)
-
Place tubing in tube pincher (A)
-
Insert tubing along channel (B)
-
Push tubing into Air In Line Detector (C)

​

​
​
​
​
​
​​
4. Close Door.
​
5. Is this a new therapy?
-
Yes: clears current infusion data.
-
No: begin programming infusion.
​
6. Prime Set?
-
Yes: follow prompts to prime tubing.
-
No: begin programming infusion.
​
Piggyback Mode
​1.Press OPTS until PIGGYBACK is displayed
​
2. Press ON.
​
3. Press END.
​
4. Press PIGY.
​
5. Enter Rate/VTBD or VTBD/Time as in Continuous Mode.
​
6. Press START.
Changing the Rate
​
1. While infusing, enter the new rate using the number keys.
​
2. Press OK.
​
NOTE: If the OK Key is not pressed within 10 seconds of the change, the infusion will continue at the original rate.
Changing the VTBD
​
1. Stop infusion.
​
2. Press VTBD
​
3. Press (C).
​
4. Enter the new volume to be delivered.
​
5. Press OK.
​
6. Press START.
