Pull back the plunger first HEPARIN has a BLUE Cap then SLOWLY push out the air bubble.

NOTE: If your catheter has 2 lumens, you will need to flush the Unused SALINE has a WHITE Cap lumen with Heparin DAILY.
Take medication out of the refrigerator, let it sit and warm up to room temperature.
